Dr. Bonakdar Explains: This lovely patient saw a dermatologist for removal of an epidermal inclusion cyst above her brow. The dermatologist attempted the removal of the cyst but ultimately have to send the patient with an open wound to a plastic surgeon for the completion of the removal. The area became badly infected after surgery and scarred. The patient had a very noticeable large indentation above her brow for 10 years when she first came to Dr. Bonakdar for Botox cosmetic. Upon Dr. Bonakdar's suggestion, the patient agreed to have the indentation corrected with fillers. She was so pleased with Dr. Bonakdar's results that she actually cried when handed the mirror to look at the final results. There are many tools Dr. Bonakdar uses to correct scarring from surgery or trauma.
