What can I expect during laser treatment?

The LightSheer DUET laser utilizes two different sized heads to allow us better control over the area being targeted for hair removal. Depending on the area being treated, appointments with other lasers could take up to an hour. Not with us! We can cover larger areas of the body (like legs or the back) in just fifteen minutes.

This effective laser is also gentle enough to deliver amazing results with minimal discomfort.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

Unfortunately, no laser treatment is able to completely rid you of hair in one treatment. This has nothing to do with the power of the laser. Actually, it has everything to do with your hair. Because different hairs grow in different cycles, you will need multiple treatments to fully rid yourself of hair in a specific area.

How do I prepare for treatment?

You may need to skip tweezing, waxing, and electrolysis for around six weeks before your laser hair removal treatments. Shaving the area in question is usually acceptable, but make sure to ask your provider before you come in for your appointment.

What do I do afterwards?

Taking care of your skin is key to having great results and staying healthy. Keeping skin that has been treated with lasers out of the sun will help it recover faster. Wearing sunscreen can also help protect delicate skin.
